Investor Relations officer

  • Develops and maintains investor relations plan.
  • Performs a comprehensive competitive analysis, including financial metrics and differentiation (in cooperation with Corporate Business Development team).
  • Develops and monitors performance metrics for the IR function.
  • Monitors operational changes and develops IR messages based on these changes.
  • Provides training on regulatory disclosure to all company spokespersons.
  • Creates presentations, press releases and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, and presentations to external stakeholders.
  • Creates text of regular earnings statements.
  • Oversees the production of all annual reports, regulatory filings and proxy statements.
  • Manages the IR portion of the company website.
  • Monitors analyst reports and summarizes them for management.
  • Serves as key point of contact for the investment community.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with stock exchange representatives.
  • Organizes conferences, road shows, earnings conference calls and investor meetings.
  • Provides feedback to management regarding the investment community's perception of the company to aid in the development of corporate strategy.
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, or 3+ years experience in managing an investor relation ( IR ) / product / sales / portfolio management role.
  • A relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA, Business, Economics, Education, Business/Administration, Management, Communications, Science. A postgraduate degree such as MBA (Finance) or Masters in Commerce is not necessary but would be taken as an additional advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, relationship-building skills in the investment community, and the ability to collaborate with the executive team. 
  • Nice to have Licenses or certifications required by the position: CFA, MBA, CPA, IRC
  • Financial Institutions and Corporate market knowledge is a must requirement.
  • Experienced in developing relationships with key individuals in other areas of CCIR, Business, Finance, HR, Strategy teams globally.
  • Experienced in ensuring that capital transactions and NAVs are processed correctly.
